Covid-19 Resources
Information and Suggested Articles for more information
Helpful Articles
Below are some helpful articles from sources you can trust regarding the various precautions we may need to implement when it comes time to re-open our doors.
Things to Consider
The links to the resources below offer suggestions for many of the things that our church’s re-opening task force will be considering as we explore how and when we will be re-opening after the pandemic.
Denominational Support
Some of the most helpful resources during this pandemic and its aftermath have come from our our United Methodist Church and other denominations and agencies. We will link several articles for your information below.
*We have been asked by Bishop Leeland not to have in-person, indoor worship services or other large indoor events at this time. We will keep you posted when this changes and when we will be able to worship indoors as soon as we are given the green light to do so. Please know that the COVID-19 Re-opening Task Force is currently working to plan on what that re-opening may look like when we are allowed to resume in-person worship indoors.
In the meantime, we have begun offering in-person, outdoor worship services on the lawn of the church grounds in between the sanctuary and the education building on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. through the month of September. You can also enjoy watching our services online via Facebook Live, once the video has posted, if you are unable to attend in-person.*
Please see a list of resources below for further information on how to stay safer at home during Phase 3.
