Sunday School 

Here at First Church, we offer Sunday School opportunities for infants and toddlers, pre-school, elementary students, youth and adults. Classes are held in the education building. 

*We will tentatively begin Sunday School  on a class-by-class basis starting May 9 at 10 a.m.

Fellowship Time and our nursery care are currently
on hold until the fall.*

Elementary Sunday School

Early Elementary: Preschool-2nd grade: Room 201

Sunday School Leader: Sara Joines

Older Elementary: 3rd-5th grade: Room 202

Youth & Young Adult

Middle Schoolers will meet upstairs in Room 206 while high school youth will meet during the Sunday School hour in Langford Hall. College students are also welcome to attend. Bring a friend and come learn about Jesus together. 

These groups are lead by our Youth Directors, Mack and Sarah King.

Adult Sunday School Classes

The William’s Class–Room 104: We are a loving, spiritual class that cares for each other and gives to church projects and outside people in need.

The Lost but Found Class–Room 103: Our class is composed of members from various Christian backgrounds. Our lessons are scripture baSed by utilizing the Bible, DVDs and in-depth discussion. We welcome all ages and beliefs.

Pairs and Spares–Room 101: Dedicated to scripture based service to our church and community, we care for, pray for, and are there fo reach other. We seek ways to help our church community and those in need. Classes are focused on scripture and discussing our Christian lives as we apply those teachers.

Tom Easterling Class–Room 105: Older adult class, but only in age, having fun on the path of life, still striving for Christian perfection.

The Margaret Weldon Class–Room 106: Our goal is to be friendly and to share the love of God and our church through the community. We are a fun-loving group who enjoy meeting new people and would love to see some new faces.

Dale’s Disciples–Room 204: We are a group of 25-50 year-old couples with elementary, middle, high school and college-aged children. Very social, laid back atmosphere. We use a combination of video and book-based Sunday School lessons with plenty of time for discussion. We focus on scripture, our spouses, children and relationships.

The Heart & Soul Class–Room 205: Laid back 40 and older group. Our typical gatherings consist of applying our Christian beliefs to the world around us. We use a mix of media approach to lead group discussions each Sunday, with occasional walks on the beach.

The Renaissance Class–The Parlor in Langford Hall: A warm, inviting, inclusive group of 40-somethings who openly discuss bible study lessons and apply them to real life.
